The Chocó Rainforest in Ecuador! ✨🌿

Deep in the rainforest, at Mashpi Lodge, we stayed at a small eco-lodge protecting 7,000 acres of untouched jungle. This place is unreal—a cloud forest AND a rainforest west of the Andes, filled with some of the most unique wildlife on the planet!

🚠 Gondola on the treetops on a (very high and slightly terrifying) gondola
🚴 Biking on a cable over the rainforest canopy (yes, it’s as crazy as it sounds!)
🦜 Hummingbirds—over 30 species flitting around us!
🕷️ Spiders that GLOW under UV light (did not expect that!)
🕸️ Came face-to-face with a real tarantula
🌙 Hiked through the jungle by day and night, spotting incredible birds, insects, and even sloths! One hour of hiking was in a river for an hour with spiders 😳

It’s been an amazing, slightly nerve-wracking, and absolutely unforgettable experience.
